DESCRIPTION:Not all is goodness and light\, and not all is evil and darkness. We’ll explore those metaphors and more\, in creating our own good and evil charcoal monsters. \nPart of the Smudge It! Some Shady Charcoal Workshops by Wendy Aldwyn. These sessions explore realism\, surrealism and abstract applications of darkness and light\, taking a look at the use of charcoal by contemporary artists as well as the old masters. \nThe first hour of each session\, we’ll warm up by practicing basic charcoal techniques and tricks\, and learning how to draw with the eraser. \nThe second hour we’ll work on finishing a themed charcoal drawing. \nWednesday\, October 29\, 6-8 pm \n$45 For adults and mature teens
