DESCRIPTION:In late summer 1775\, delegates from around North Carolina assembled in Hillsborough in defiance of British orders. SUMMARY:Historic Marker Unveiling with OCCRC
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, February 15th at 1:00pm\, for our Historical Marker Unveiling.  We will gather together to commemorate Daniel Morrow\, Thomas Jefferson Morrow and Washington Morrow – all victims of racial terror lynching in Orange County in 1869.  The marker and program will be on the grounds of the Orange County Historical Courthouse in Hillsborough. For more information about the lives and murders of these members of the Morrow family\, please use this link: Those We Honor (occrcoalition.org).\n \nWe look forward to this meaningful event for our community.\nWe hope to see you there.
